BSN is one of the most respected supplement companies over the past few years. They are responsible for such products as cell mass and no-xplode, which I use religiously. They have also released a protein supplement that is unique in the industry. Syntha-6 was created as an all-in-one protein supplement. I have just completed my first tub and I will provide a BSN Syntha-6 Review.
Syntha-6 is unique in that it contains 6 different types of protein. All these proteins are digested at different rates in your body, giving you a steady stream of amino acids for several hours.
Proteins Within Syntha-6 Include:
- Ultra-filtered Whey Protein Concentrate (fast digestion)
- Micro-Filtered Whey Protein Isolate (fast digestion)
- Egg Albumen (over a few hours)
- Milk Protein Concentrate ( 4-6 hrs)
- Calcium Caseinate (6-8 hrs)
- Micellar Alpha, Beta-Caseins, and Caseinates (6-8 hrs)
A major benefit to using this supplement is that is can be taken multiple times throughout the day when you body needs protein:
- pre workout
- post workout
- upon waking
- before bed
There is no more need to purchase both a whey and casein protein, Syntha-6 has the benefits of both.
My Review of Syntha-6:
After only one 5lb tub, I successfully added 4 lbs of muscle in a little less than 6 weeks. That is great results for me because I have been hovering around the same weight for almost a year now. I was able to brake my weight plateau and get back up to 240lbs.
The taste of this product is amazing. I went for the chocolate milk shake flavor and would choose that again.
The price is very reasonable also. I purchased the 5lb tub for under $40 using some Bodybuilding.com coupons.
The product mixes just as easily as Optimum Nutrition’s %100 Whey protein, but I think it tastes a little better. The advantage over ON’s %100 Whey, is that Syntha-6 contains whey and casein protein forms. Now, I have the ability to purchase just one protein supplement instead of two.
I will be ordering more of this product soon and will continue this BSN Syntha-6 Review with updated results.
What are you going to do with this information right now?
