More about the Ingredients:
Schizandrol A
It has not only been shown to outperform amphetamine in cognitive tasks involving focus, but it has also been shown to greatly improve the capacity of muscles to perform work, while also increasing physical force. In essence, it’s able to supply a stimulating effect to the body and mind.
This compound has also been shown to decrease catabolic hormones such as cortisol.
Caffeine
Caffeine is within the family of methylxanthine compounds. It’s able to stimulate the CNS, while also stimulating contractility of skeletal muscle directly and this may partially be due to the release of catecholamines such as norepinephrine released from the adrenal glands.
Caffeine has the benefit of fighting fatigue and drowsiness; enhancing the flow of thoughts; increasing alertness and improving intellectual efforts.
Beta-alanine
Beta-alanine serves as the rate-limiting precursor of carnosine and has been shown to greatly improve carnosine levels in skeletal muscle tissue.
Carnosine is an extremely important dipeptide that is generally present in rather high concentrations in skeletal muscle.
It’s so important because it acts as a buffer of sorts, preventing the improve of acidity or Hydrogen ion accumulation in skeletal muscle; something which is thought to contribute to the fatiguing of muscles.
So by delaying muscle fatigue, you can train longer and harder.
Creatine Monohydrate
While we may negate the improve in Hydrogen ion levels in skeletal muscle by increasing carnosine levels, we still must overcome one more obstacle in order to allow us to prevent fatigue while working out. In this case, we must use a compound which can ultimately improve the adenosine triphosphate (ATP) levels in muscle. ATP, as we all know, is a high energy nucleotide which acts as the major energy carrying molecule in our bodies.
Consequently, muscle fatigue is also related to energy loss in skeletal muscle, specifically, ATP being converted to adenosine diphosphate (ADP). In effect, one phosphate group is lost and must be replenished in order for the muscle cell to continue on working.
By supplementing with creatine, we are able to improve the levels of phosphocreatine in muscle. Phosphocreatine is a high energy buffering compound which is able to donate a phosphate group to ADP, allowing the formation of ATP once again.
So by supplementing with creatine monohydrate, you are increasing intra-cellular phosocreatine levels leading to increased conversion of ADP to ATP.
Geranium (1,3-Dimethylamylamine)
It contains a compound that can supply an energy boost to your workouts and help you get through all your working sets.
L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (AAKG)
This compound was included in the formula as it may also improve strength and peak power performance.
Yet as an added benefit, by including a very precise amount, in combination with other ingredients, one can also experience an improve in vasodilation, which can potentially improve the flow of nutrients to skeletal muscle, thereby enhancing muscular recovery. This vasodilation leads to the “muscle pump” that every bodybuilder desires.
Jack3d Review Submitted by Gene L.
Update: I wanted to give some input also. I have just finished a cycle of this stuff and I am hooked. Unlike any other pre workout supp, Jack3d gives my no bloated feeling after taking it. Agree with everything Gene said below.

Pump: 9/10
The pump was great. I also noticed an increased vascularity that I don’t get with other pre-workout supplements I have taken.
Energy 10/10
Awesome with no jitters.
Focus 8/10
Caffeine does the trick for me and Jack3d has plenty of it.
Strength 9/10
Definitely got a boost from the creatine mono and beta-alanine. Busted through sets without a problem.
Taste 8/10
Had the lemon-lime taste and wasn’t bad. Going to try the fruit punch next time.
Overall 9/10
The most complete pre-workout supplement I have tried to date. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants more energy strength and a better pump in the gym. It also contains no magnesium so there was absolutely no stomach issues.
Please let me know what you thought of this post... I'm dying to find out...
